SPRING IT ON!!!!
What’s up rounders! Spring has finally sprung and I have some great recs for your viewing and shopping pleasure.
If you’re looking for something fun and frothy that goes down easy check out Netflix’s Running Point with Kate Hudson! It’s like the Kardashians, meets Ted Lasso with a little bit of Arrested Development sprinkled on top. Kate Hudson plays Isla Gordon, a former party girl who reluctantly takes over her family’s championship winning NBA team while trying to navigate her jealous siblings and team politics.
Kate Hudson is her funny, sexy best Kate Hudson self and her style is ON POINT. Co-Creator Mindy Kaling had said he wanted the style to be “aspirational“ and it is. Her power suits enter the scene before she does. I tried my best to recreate her Attico Suit with my Lafayette 148 circa 2023 suit when I went on PIX’s NY Living to talk about the show and how you can channel your inner Boss Lady in NYC.

I was also inspired by her home decor which is super fresh, fun and chic. Here are some ways to recreate that vibe with some gorgeous housewares just in time for the holidays!
SUGAR CRAVINGS!!!
Every time Boston based Jill Rosenwald Pottery posts a pic on her instagram it’s like a dopamine hit to my shopaholic soul. For a few weeks I couldn’t stop thinking about this peony vase and sugar bowl…and I haven’t had sugar since 2012!! Please enjoy perusing through her beautiful dishes, vases, sugar bowls and salt cellars. And if you see something you just can’t live without, Jill was kind enough to give us a discount code for 15% off. Just use RAVIN15 at check out- it’s good through April 30th!
SWEET TABLE ESCAPES
And you know I would never expect you to buy dishes without linens to put them on!!! Luckily www.goldie-home.com did a spring refresh that makes me want throw a dinner party just to set the table!! Sara was kind enough to offer Ravin Roundup readers 15% off! Just use code RAVINROUNDUP at checkout.
LE PRINTEMPS!
If you can’t afford to go to April in Paris, my favorite shop pour les francophiles is French Wink. Their Spring Gift Box has everything you need to bring a little bit of Paris right to your home. And as the largest and finest curation of French products in the USA you can literally get everything your French heart desires from housewares, to gourmet food to decor. Owners Claire and Myline were kind enough to give us $5 off with coupon code MARTA.
And finally I recently had the pleasure of hosting Cat Greenleaf’s Soberness Storyhour at the Historic Algonquin Hotel. The amazing line up included Molly Jong-Fast, musician Tracy Bonham and actor/director Jason Biggs.
Me, Jason Biggs and fellow MTV alum current Soberness booker Raquel Bruno
I had not seen Jason since over 20 years ago when I produced him and the rest of The American Pie cast at the MTV Beach House! So it was incredible to hear about his journey through addiction and recovery while being a married Dad with 2 kids.
Here’s a little taste of Jason’s experience being in AA. For the full ep click here.
