Hello my loverly Rounders. How I’ve missed you so while I was patiently waiting for this little gem to drop. I think we all really needed it. White Lotus and Gilded Age aren’t back yet, Succession is gone!!! Where are all the fancy pretty rich people doing bad things to each other?
Because without them I have nothing to Round Up. I mean obviously I can round up anything shopping related at the drop of an Eric Javits hat, but part of this newsletter is therapeutic for me. I get to find amazing things for my readers to buy (with a promo code when possible) and my visceral need to shop on the internet is quelled…for the moment.
And not to say there aren’t some other fantastic shows out there. Industry on MAX- brilliant, funny with never ending nipple shots and lines of coke. But this London based finance series is purposely monochromatic with some flashes of colorful clothes and characters. Maybe if would work if I have a spin off “The Ravin Roundup: Nights!” (Shout out to Troy and Abed fans!!!)
Anyway my patience paid off and I loved Netflix’s limited series The Perfect Couple. Nicole Kidman as the ice queen wealthy matriarch. Eve Hewson, the bride to be, who is so interesting to watch on camera. I can’t wait to see her again when Bad Sisters finally returns on Apple in NOVEMBER!!! YAY!!! And Liev Schreiber finally not being brooding, angry, Ray Donovan anymore. I mean how much darker could one character get? It’s like if Fitz wound up as a homeless person on the cold streets of D.C. at the end of Scandal.
The Perfect Couple is everything I personally needed to fill my gaping eye candy hole aka macular decandyzation. (I’m on season 3 of Slow Horses people- can Gary Oldman at least wash his hair? I can smell it from my living room)
PIX’s '“New York Living” was kind enough to have me on again to chat about The Perfect Couple and my accompanying curated homage.
So this week’s finds are a bit NY centric but it is 2024 and they all have websites so….lets Round it Up!
I don’t know how I’ve lived my entire decor/housewares obsessed life without knowing about Jill Rosenwald. It would be like if I JUST discovered Parker Posey!
What this woman does with the interior of a cookie jar is seriously amazing, and she has candles, trays, mix and match dishes- and all of her designs and palates are “just the right amount whimsy” without jumping the ceramic whimsy shark.
She also has larger statement pieces like this beautiful Large Bee Bowl in Swish Alps which would make a huge impact in an entry way, on a dining room table or in a fancy kitchen.
And Jill was kind enough to give us a 10% discount code with RavinRoundup10. So please check the rest of her wares that are guaranteed to surprise and delight!
I have felt my fair share of cozy blankets and the Chappywrap wins hands down durability. It’s unique weave allows for repeated washing while staying extra soft. It’s also shrink, piling and static resistant. It comes in many beautiful patterns and colors and Perch Home and Company was nice enough to give us 20% off again!!! Thank you Michele! Just use the promo code RAVINROUNDP20.
The next time you’re down an internet rabbit hole searching for the perfect grecian urn feeling vase with a fresh twist, look no further than Current Home. Like Challah boards you would have bought just for regular bread but it’s nice to know a challah fits on it perfectly!
This vase was perfect to showcase our Perfect Couplesque Hydrangeous and the generous owners of Current Home are giving us 10% for just 5 days so click on over now and use code RAVIN at check out.

And what better place to relax after a day of shopping in NYC than the iconic Grand Central Oyster Bar. Built in 1913 by Cornelius Vanderbilt, this historic restaurant has gone through many iterations but the gorgeous arches and delicious seafood have always remain intact! So if you’re in NYC head on over to 42nd and Park to experience a taste of history.
